Best Christmas Takeaway in Singapore: Bring Home a Thai Christmas Feast From Bangkok Jam

Not everyone wants to spend Christmas Eve in the kitchen, and not everyone wants turkey either. If your family's idea of a festive meal leans towards tom yum and pineapple fried rice, Bangkok Jam has a Christmas takeaway for you.

For Christmas gathering 2026, Bangkok Jam at Great World is offering its 2026 Christmas in Bangkok Feast as a takeaway: eight Thai courses, packed as a set for 4 ($108.90++) or a petite set for 2 ($58.90++), in a regular or fully vegan version. It's available from 1 November 2026 to 7 January 2027.

What's in Bangkok Jam Christmas Takeaway Set?

Both sizes come with the same eight courses, from starter to dessert:

  • Starter: Prawn Cake, doughnut-shaped prawn cakes with sweet chilli sauce

  • Salad: Pomelo Salad with Thai herbs and cashew nuts

  • Soup: Fresh Coconut Chicken Soup with shiitake mushroom and coconut flesh in fresh coconut juice

  • Mains: Tom Yum Curry Fish Head; Iberico Pork Collar with jiew sauce and roasted rice; Stir-fried Broccoli and Shiitake Mushroom

  • Staple: Pineapple Fried Rice with seafood, in a pineapple boat

  • Dessert: Coconut Dumpling with sweetened grated coconut filling

The Tom Yum Curry Fish Head is the centrepiece: a whole fish head in a tangy, spicy curry with lady finger, pineapple, eggplant, tomato and Thai herbs. It's the kind of dish that's hard to make at home and easy to share.

A Fully Vegan Christmas Takeaway in Singapore

Bangkok Jam is known for its vegan-friendly menu, and the Christmas takeaway is no exception. The vegan version keeps the same eight-course format:

  • Starter: Crispy Mushroom with homemade vegan mayonnaise

  • Salad and soup: Pomelo Salad, and Clear Tom Yum Soup with vegetables, mushrooms and tofu

  • Mains: Vegan YUBA Fish in Red Curry with Pineapple and Apple; Classic Stir-fried Thai Basil Tofu; Broccoli with Shiitake Mushroom in vegan oyster sauce

  • Staple and dessert: Pineapple Fried Rice with vegetables and fried tofu, and Coconut Dumpling

It's a simple way to make sure vegan and vegetarian guests get a full festive spread, not just side dishes. For more ideas, see our vegetarian Christmas food guide.

Festive Set for 2 or Set for 4?

The petite set for 2 ($58.90++) suits couples, a small household or a quiet Christmas Eve at home. The set for 4 ($108.90++) is the full feast for a family table, just over $27++ per person.

Hosting more people? Order a regular and a vegan set together so everyone at the table is covered. Note that the regular set includes pork (Iberico Pork Collar) and seafood, so the vegan set is the one to pick for guests who avoid either.

How to Order Your Christmas Takeaway

The Christmas takeaway sets are available for delivery and pickup on Grab, foodpanda and Getz, or through Bangkok Jam's online ordering page. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are the busiest days for food delivery, so order early to get your preferred time.

Prefer to eat at the restaurant? The same feast is served for dine-in as the Christmas in Bangkok Feast Set ($32.90++ per person, minimum 2), daily and all day, and there's a Christmas Set Lunch ($18.90++) on weekdays from 11.30am to 4.30pm. See the full Christmas 2026 menu.
